YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Management, Information Science, or a related field – Master degree is a plus
  • A strong mix of business understanding and technical expertise
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or IoT data analytics is desirable
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and .NET as well as with data analytics tools like Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning (experience with libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow is a plus)
  • Ability to think in business use cases, understand customer needs, and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Strong data wrangling and manipulation skills making raw data usable
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to recognize patterns and trends in complex data.
  • Strong communication and presentation skillsable to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable business insights in the IoT and transportation/logistics domain
  • Develop, in close collaboration with customers and stakeholders, data-driven solutions for real-world use cases
  • Utilize analytics tools to clean, process, and extract value from data
  • Design and build dashboards, reports, and data models
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements through data-driven approaches
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging AI/ML technologies relevant to IoT data analytics
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and usability by managing data pipelines and pre-processing
  • Present findings in a clear, business-oriented manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as top management
  • Travel occasionally when required to collaborate with teams, customers, and partners
  • Independently develop data analytics queries, models, dashboards, and solution approaches for new products and services
  • Work on data preparation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure high data quality
  • Collaborate with business leaders, customers, and domain experts to define and implement data-driven proof of concepts (PoCs)
  • Apply machine learning techniques where applicable to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
  • Evaluate and implement AI and analytics technologies that enhance business intelligence capabilities
  • Ensure that insights derived from data are actionable and aligned with business goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve analytics strategies, i.a. liaise with our divisional AI lead and board
