POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role focuses on advanced statistical analysis and data modeling to support healthcare audits and performance measurement. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in statistical sampling, regression modeling, and healthcare data systems, and will provide technical support throughout audit engagements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in statistical analysis and healthcare data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Python).Familiarity with VHA data systems preferred.

• Perform statistical sampling (e.g., stratified random sampling), risk adjustment, and regression analyses (e.g., mixed effects models).

• Support audit teams with statistical design and interpretation.

• Extract and manipulate data from healthcare relational databases using SQL.

• Apply psychometric statistics and complex survey methodologies.
• Analyze data from VHAs Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) and other federal healthcare systems.Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
