Description

Media Cause is an award-winning, mission-driven marketing and creative agency that helps nonprofits grow and accelerate their impact. We take a people-first approach to developing powerful creative, scalable growth strategies, and targeted communications that connect with individuals across their entire supporter journey: from awareness and recruitment to fundraising and advocacy, and every touchpoint in between.
As of 2025, Media Cause consists of 50+ full-time employees along with a network of talented consultants. We have offices in Washington DC, Atlanta, and San Francisco, as well as many team members who work remotely on a permanent basis. Our agency has grown in size every year since our founding, landing on the Inc. 5000 list for the fastest-growing private companies in America three times. We have built a strong business, although impact will always be our North Star. In addition to winning a number of creative and effectiveness awards for our client work, Media Cause was also honored by Inc. Magazine with a Best In Business Gold Award for our positive impact on our community, our industry, and society as a whole.

SUMMARY

We’re looking for a data-savvy, curious, and adaptable individual to join our Analytics team as a Data & Analytics Specialist. This person will take the reins on daily data operations - managing performance dashboards, wrangling data from media and fundraising platforms, ensuring consistency across our reporting workflows - while also supporting the broader transformation of how our agency leverages data, automation, and AI.
This is a foundational role in a rapidly evolving area of the agency. As part of a small but forward-thinking team, you’ll not only be responsible for data integrity and insights delivery, but will also contribute to piloting new tools, workflows, and ideas that will shape the future of nonprofit marketing and agency operations.
If you love building clean dashboards and thinking ahead about how automation and AI can make things better, this role is for you.

CAREER PATH & GROWTH

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow from a data executor into a data innovator — someone who thrives at the intersection of spreadsheets, storytelling, and systems thinking. You’ll be mentored directly by the Director of Data Strategy and have access to agency-wide conversations around AI, automation, and the future of nonprofit marketing.
As our tools evolve, so will this role - and we’re looking for someone excited to grow with it.
