We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Data and Automation Analyst to join our IM Team, playing a pivotal role in delivering data-driven insights and automation solutions that support smarter, faster decision-making across the business.

The role will involve:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, aligned to business needs and user requirements.
  • Designing and implementing data models, calculations, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
  • Connecting and managing data sources within Microsoft Azure, including Azure SQL and Data Lake.
  • Building and maintaining automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline reporting and communication processes.
  • Working with suppliers and third parties to implement best practice data integrations
  • Delivering scheduled and ad-hoc reports, including automated email summaries and PDF reports, to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensuring data quality, consistency, accuracy and security across all reporting and automation platforms, adhering to data governance standards.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving reporting processes and tools.

What we are looking for:

A determined and ambitious individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science or Computer Science/Engineering
  • Proficient in analysing datasets statistical methods using SQL, Python, R.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory).
  • Ability to write and optimise SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience with automation technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and experience with database management systems.
  • The ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in a rapidly changing field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate with team members and stakeholders
