ABOUT THE JOB.

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Data and Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the Northwest region. The Data and Intelligence Analyst will undertake reporting and data analysis activities, in order to drive intelligence and produce recommendations that support Operations investment and planning decision making, supporting the day-to-day activities within Operations as well as driving performance improvements.

  • Gather, analyse, and monitor relevant data from a variety of sources to explore patterns, cause and effect and trends within the business.
  • To work with regional and wider National Highways stakeholders to define data sets that support business decision making and assist in driving improvements in performance and data management processes, whilst championing data quality and integrity.
  • To identify areas for further analysis and produce performance and service insights to support and improve Operations decision-making and improve performance against its Key Performance measures.
  • Produce management information for Operations to support performance reporting at both a national and regional level to support both internal / external stakeholders (such as ORR, DfT, etc).
  • Apply and, where appropriate, enhance and/or develop analysis, and decision-making support tools, which demonstrate good industry practice.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
