Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career professional looking to kickstart their career in data analysis. As a Data and Research Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing and sales teams by leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and optimise business performance. You will work closely with key stakeholders to collect, clean, analyse, and interpret data, providing actionable insights that contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
The role will report to the Digital Marketing Specialist and will be a valuable member of the team where you will you learn, flourish and be fully supported.
SG World is a 55-year-old business that has grown in the heart of Crewe. We pride ourselves on looking after our people. SG World manufactures various Visitor Management and Health & Safety systems and has a presence in Europe as well as the USA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated in a relevant field, such as statistics, data science, economics, or business analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience of using HubSpot or Prism order systems desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Preparation: Gather data from various sources, including internal systems, external databases, and market research reports. Clean and organise data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise statistical techniques and data visualisation tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to gain insights into industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviours.
  • Report Generation: Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop actionable recommendations based on data analysis to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis techniques, tools, and industry trends.
