Job Summary (in List Format): Data Architect Financial Services Transformation- Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of enterprise data architectures for large-scale financial systems.
- Analyze and document current and target-state data architectures across both relational (RDBMS) and distributed NoSQL platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define scalable and resilient enterprise data models and integration patterns.
- Develop and maintain domain, conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Architect high-performance database solutions for relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, YugabyteDB) platforms, both on-premises and cloud-based.
- Establish and enforce data standards, modeling conventions, governance principles, and metadata documentation.
- Support enterprise data strategy initiatives and contribute to architecture governance and review processes.
- Produce clear architecture documentation and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assess legacy systems and recommend modernization/optimization opportunities.
- Ensure alignment of database implementations with architectural guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in planning and execution of data migration, integration, and transformation projects.
- Address performance, scalability, resiliency, and disaster recovery considerations within data architectures.
- Leverage strong technical expertise in data modeling, enterprise data integration, and data governance.
- Utilize data modeling tools such as ER/Studio and Hackolade.
- Apply knowledge of financial services, capital markets, investment banking, trading, and regulatory environments.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, large enterprise environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise transformation programs, data governance frameworks, and relevant industry or architecture certifications.
