SAIC is seeking Data Architects to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.
The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and use associated advanced analytic and data science tools including data visualization, link analysis, correlation, sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling.
  • Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design, and implementation to meet enterprise data management plan requirements.
  • Develop data implementation roadmaps and standards for interoperability, data cataloguing, datasets, data quality, and entity attributes.
  • Create and implement data business rules, data lifecycle management strategies, and data mapping documents to transition from legacy to target data models.
  • Provide leadership on complex projects, overseeing project work plans, milestone tracking, and coordination of efforts in addition to formulating and delivering strategic goals for data architecture in collaboration with data owners, mission managers, and stakeholders
