We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect/Scientist to join our AI and Data Engineering team. This role will report directly to the CTO and will provide direction and mentoring to the data engineering team while leveraging expertise in AI as we add functionality to our world-class set of Identity and Access Management (IAM) products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the data consumed and produced by IAM systems.

Responsibilities:

• AI/IAM Expertise:
• Utilize knowledge of IAM systems to design data solutions that enhance our One Identity identity and access management products.
• Ensure data integrity and security in compliance with IAM protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to define product and functionality opportunities
• Leadership and Mentoring:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team.
• Mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in data architecture and data science.
• Data Architecture:
• Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures to support AI functionalities.
• Develop strategies for data integration, storage, and retrieval from IAM systems.
• Data Science:
• Apply advanced data science techniques to analyze and interpret data from IAM systems.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to enhance security and access management.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, software engineers, and product managers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Data Governance:
• Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and validations to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions for IAM or other cyber security systems.
- Experience with machine learning and AI data requirements.
- IAM Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of IAM systems, protocols, and standards.
- Experience with IAM data analysis and security measures.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.
