THE POSITION

Join our team as a Data Architect in our dynamic IT EDP Data Analytics team where you will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing our company’s data architecture. You will play a key role in developing data strategies, implementing data solutions, and ensuring the overall integrity and security of our data assets for Digital Products delivered to Business. This position is part time eligible with 80%.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics with longstanding experience in the area of business intelligence and data management and experience as a Data Architect
  • Several years of experience with cloud solutions and first experience in a large scale modernization / transition project to Cloud like AWS or Azure
  • Profound knowledge of AWS components, Apache Parquet, S3, AWS Glue and Snowflake paired with knowledge of the pharma industry, e.g. Medicine or Research and/or GxP processes knowledge, AWS solution architect certification and understanding of / skills in Innovator is a plus
  • Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and other relevant technologies as well as experience with agile based delivery model
  • Analytical thinking, self-organization and collaboration skills, understanding of complex architectures, and a passion for rapids technical advancements
  • Excellent spoken and written English skillsWillingness and readiness to travel

Responsibilities
  • In your new role you will design and implement efficient and scalable data architecture and you will develop data models and database designs.
  • Moreover, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Business Stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
  • You will work closely with Data Domain owners to establish Data Governance and Data Sharing Terms policies.
  • In addition, you will optimize database performance and ensure data quality.
  • You will stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management.Furthermore, you will provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
