Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, automation, or business intelligence, preferably within mortgage servicing or financial services.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
  • Experience with mortgage servicing platforms (FICS) and related servicing software is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in report development, data extraction, and transformation (ETL processes).

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance reporting in a mortgage servicing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Data Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop and maintain custom reports to support audits, operational oversight, and compliance within the FICS mortgage servicing platform and related systems.
  • Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations to provide real-time insights for management and team performance tracking.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and visualizations, implementing validation and error-checking processes.

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Design and implement data-driven process automations, including robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Utilize Python, SQL, and scripting languages to automate repetitive data tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization within servicing operations and data integration processes.
  • Maintain and improve existing automations, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Data Integration & System Support

  • Work within the FICS mortgage servicing platform and related servicing systems to support data integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless data flow between systems and maintain data consistency.
  • Support data migrations and conversions related to new acquisitions, servicing transfers, and system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies, system issues, and automation failures, working cross-functionally to resolve them.

Audit & Compliance Reporting

  • Generate and validate reports for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and investor requirements.
  • Develop data tracking mechanisms to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk metrics within servicing operations.
  • Assist with responding to regulatory inquiries, providing accurate and well-documented data reports as needed.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with servicing teams, compliance, risk, and IT to ensure alignment of data-driven solutions with business needs.
  • Provide training and documentation for internal users on how to access and utilize reports, dashboards, and automation tools.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously enhance data reporting and automation capabilities.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and special projects as assigned.
