Data Business Analyst  Are you passionate about transforming business needs into actionable data solutions? You’ll lead requirements gathering for all data-related initiatives, ensuring that data insights, reporting, visualizations, and analytics solutions are aligned with GreenPath’s strategic goals. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across departments to document data needs, define use cases, and translate them into actionable technical requirements.  The goal of the Data BA is to thoroughly gather stakeholder requirements (including technical requirements and visuals to enhance business decision making), ensuring all needs are understood, documented and signed off on PRIOR to development starting in order to plan the project appropriately, allow for iterative technical solutioning and efficiently develop the request. Another goal for this role is to create a backlog of requirements in order to fill sprint capacity. Finally, this role will help fulfill the goal of creating and maintaining our data dictionary, creating tooltips in reporting and dashboards which will help create a better end-user experience.  The most important characteristic of our IT team is that we are dynamic and fast moving with leading edge technologies. We encourage people from each and every background and walk of life to apply for opportunities which they are passionate about and meet the qualifications.  We Have:   * Extraordinary opportunity for growth and development in IT areas of your interest * New and Leading technologies to work with * The opportunity for you to work with leaders across the organization to understand business needs and help provide roadmap to implementing new technology and updated current technology * GreenPath’s culture is phenomenal; employee focused, collaborative and transparent  You Have:  * Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis and requirements gathering for operational reporting, business intelligence, and data warehouse projects. * Experience with CoPilot, Word, Excel, T-SQL queries using SQL Server Management Studio, and Power BI. * Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling, including OLAP cubes. * Experience in Agile Methodology and Azure DevOps. * Experience in the financial services industry or call centers is preferred. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to translate technical details for business users and vice versa. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects. The Day to Day:  * Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into report or dashboard requirements. * Facilitate transformative requirements gathering for data visualization to enhance the clarity, impact, and usability of data insights for stakeholders. * Work effectively with developers and data engineers to ensure data solutions and visualizations meet business needs. * Use AI tools to automate the generation of artifacts such as requirements documents, user stories, and test cases. * Analyze and document source data and mappings to the Data Warehouse. * Understand and document data transformation rules required to fulfill business requirements. * Perform data validation for reports and dashboards, facilitate UAT, and obtain business stakeholder signoff for production release. * Create and maintain enterprise data catalogs, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams. * Contribute to enterprise data strategy, data quality monitoring, and data stewardship initiatives. * Manage ad-hoc report requests and ensure timely delivery. * Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input related to data trends, patterns, and cleansing.  The Perks:  What will you get out of working at GreenPath?
