The Data Center Analyst is responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting the operations of enterprise data centers, including server infrastructure, networking equipment, storage systems, and cloud connectivity. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of data center systems while supporting incident resolution, capacity planning, and operational improvements. The position is fully remote but requires adherence to U.S.-based work compliance and regulations. This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking devices, and virtualization platforms Ensure uptime, availability, and performance of mission-critical systems Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software within the data center Respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests according to established SLAs Perform root cause analysis and document technical incidents and resolutions Assist in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and reporting for IT infrastructure Maintain and update inventory, configuration records, and system documentation Ensure compliance with data center policies, security protocols, and industry standards Collaborate with IT, engineering, and support teams to implement upgrades and changes Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and operational tools Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience 2–4 years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure support, or system administration Knowledge of servers, storage systems, virtualization technologies, and networking fundamentals Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and IT operational processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid data center environments Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Azure/ AWS certifications Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks Prior experience supporting enterprise-level data centers and mission-critical systems Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards Compensation Annual Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000 USD, based on experience and technical expertise Performance-Based Bonus: Eligible, depending on operational and individual performance Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Paid time off, paid holidays, and sick leave Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance Flexible remote work arrangement Professional development, certification reimbursement, and technical training Employee wellness and assistance programs Work Authorization & Residency Requirement Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must currently reside within the United States Applications from candidates outside the U.S. will not be considered
