Job Description Responsibilities: Oversee and manage data centre commissioning projects as part of our Client-Side Commissioning Agent (CxA) role, ensuring efficient delivery and adherence to timelines. Lead multi-disciplinary commissioning teams in high-availability environments. Take commercial responsibility for the project contract, commercial performance and continuous internal reporting across project margins, risks, resource & expense forecasts Develop and optimise Work Breakdown Schedule of MEP commissioning. Conduct and oversee L1-L5 commissioning methodologies, including IST sequences, scenario testing, and failover simulation. Perform technical audits, document inspection reports, and witness equipment/systems start-up and testing. Review and interpret complex MEP designs, SoO, cause-effect matrices, and controls logic. Manage project risks, issues, and change processes. Lead client meetings, report project status, and manage stakeholder expectations. Ensure compliance with Tier III/Tier IV design architectures and reliability strategies. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal staff to achieve project objectives. Produce technical and non-technical reports on field activities and commissioning outcomes. Qualifications Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B. Tech/ B.E. or equivalent) 15+ years of commissioning management experience in MEP systems, with 5+ years specifically in Data Centre Commissioning Project Management Strong Commercial and Project Management experience Strong background in delivering commissioning for hyperscale or enterprise data center projects Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary commissioning teams in high-availability environments Deep understanding of L1-L5 commissioning methodologies and best practices Expertise in data center infrastructure: UPS, generators, MV/LV switchgear, cooling systems, and BMS/BAS integrations Knowledge of Tier III/Tier IV design architectures and reliability strategies Experience in reviewing complex MEP designs, SoO, cause-effect matrices, and controls logic Proficiency in project management, including risk, issue, and change management processes Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant certifications (e.g., CxA, BCxP, NEBB, BSRIA, ASHRAE, PMP/Prince2) are preferred Essential: Ability to work independently, manage workload, and take responsibility with minimal oversight Compliance with company policies, including Health & Safety and reporting procedure Ability to develop and optimise Work Breakdown Schedule of MEP commissioning. Knowledge of scheduling software like Primvera, MSP etc will be an advantage. Experience of using commissioning tools such as ACC ( BIM 360); Compass; Cx Alloy, Procore.
