The workforce is highly skilled and consists of application consultants, software engineers, and networking engineers located throughout the U.S and Canada.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in data center engineering and administration, with a focus on project execution.
  • Experience leading teams and managing resources in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with process compliance/documentation and SOC audit processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple data center and hosting-related projects on time and within scope.
  • Proficiency in enterprise VMware products, Cisco and Arista networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, and N-central.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain data center security and uptime targets.
Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively managing individual workload and guide the team toward meeting internal delivery and project execution goals for data center operations.
  • Oversee data center assignments, including infrastructure projects, capacity planning, maintenance scheduling, and workload distribution across a rolling 6-week planning horizon.
  • Lead daily stand-ups to align engineering efforts, coordinate tasks such as hardware deployments, network changes, and infrastructure upgrades, and remove blockers to ensure consistent progress.
  • Track and manage project status through Project Management platform by reviewing scopes, timelines, and resource assignments to ensure technical work is prioritized appropriately and aligned with overall data center objectives.
  • Review time entries, hardware charges, and related vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness before approval, ensuring consistency with internal cost tracking and operational planning.
  • Monitor internal backlogs for data center workstreams—such as rack expansion, patching, system upgrades, and cross-site failover testing—and prioritize resource allocation to meet deadlines and minimize downtime while avoiding task conflict.
  • Maintain clear and auditable records of assignments, capacity plans, invoice approvals, and infrastructure changes to support operational integrity and organizational readiness.
  • Mentor team members on process adherence, technical standards, and escalation protocols; ensure engineers have the tools, documentation, and direction needed to execute effectively.
  • Identify and implement improvements to internal data center procedures, including hardware lifecycle practices, cabling standards, physical security protocols, and system monitoring workflows.
  • Ensure proper documentation to maintain SOC accreditation
