The Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) ensures all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center operates at peak efficiency and reliability. This role executes planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective work while providing emergency response to critical facility events. The EOT serves as a technical resource, working closely with the Data Center Chief Engineer and collaborating with third-party vendors to maintain seamless facility operations. As a leased site in the ICN Cluster, the EOT plays a crucial role in establishing operational excellence and building foundational processes for this new facility. You will contribute to all facility operations and help set the standard for future leased sites within the cluster. The EOT supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system reliability, reduce operational costs, and drive innovation in facility management. This includes participating in root cause analysis, contributing to technical documentation, and implementing best practices from across the AWS global data center network.
