ABOUT THE ROLE:

The “Associate Program Manager” assists the Front End Planning team in managing global Data Center program upgrade/retrofit projects. The Associate Program Manager is responsible for supporting the program requirements development, engaging with internal customers, completing individual tasks, and supporting the program through the entire project lifecycle.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • Passionate about solving sophisticated challenges with aggressive timelines
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and quickly-changing environment
  • Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives on schedule and within budget Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in one of the following:
  • Business Administration
  • Construction Management
  • Project Management
  • Engineering Recommended experience:
  • Technical Project Management or Coordination
  • Experience with construction related to data center construction or heavy industrial work involving complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industryStandard business applications and tools Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Drawings, Hangouts, etc.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Scheduling application: Primavera P6 is an advantage
    Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
