We are looking for an experienced Data Center Network Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Cisco technologies, particularly Nexus platforms. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting a variety of compute, storage, and network hardware issues across multiple vendors and data center environments. This is a critical, customer-facing role that requires technical acumen, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure scenarios.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong experience with Cisco Nexus devices and enterprise network infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching protocols
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI (Multipod/Multisite)
  • Familiarity with Data Center topologies and DR strategies
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in or supporting Co-Lo and third-party data center environments
  • Knowledge of network cabling standards and optic module types
  • Strong organizational and ticket management skills

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot compute, storage, and network hardware issues across multiple brands (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching technologies including IOS, IOS-XE, XR, and NX-OS
  • Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus hardware and software
  • Design and maintain robust Data Center (DC) network architectures (DC-DR, Active-Active DC setups)
  • Implement and manage Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), including Multipod and Multisite environments
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex customer issues
  • Collaborate with 3rd-party vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly
  • Coordinate with Co-Lo providers for shipping, logistics, and remote hands services, primarily for Cisco products
  • Maintain and prioritize multiple support tickets simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Provide support for network cabling, optic types, and related infrastructure
  • Participate in on-site visits and travel as necessary to support upgrades and issue resolution in data centers
