Description
Data Centre Ops Engineer responsible for managing all aspects of an enterprise Data Center to include deploying, maintaining and providing operational support for the data center environment. Daily Activities included and not limited to, monitoring and responding to systems to ensure integrity and continued operations Triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of all aspects of server, network, storage and various media devices, pulling in other groups where needed. Provide support and technical expertise in regard to data center operations. Detailed documentation of tickets including symptoms, causes, and provide root cause resolution descriptions. Good communication with internal teams, external teams and 3rd party vendors. Experience working in data center operations and problem-solving capabilities on relative platforms, Ability to support a wide array of IT services, ability to quickly learn various IT tools and systems and policy and procedures Candidate should have atleast 1-2 year of experience working in DC which can be medium to large data center environment Basic knowledge of Data Centre components such as Server, Storage, Network, Cabling (UTP, Fiber) etc. Monitor the Data center servers status in terms of physical health check. Basic Monitor work and raise incident for appropriate action to be taken ( Monitoring only involves for first level of work ) Ability of speaking English and Japanese language (with minimum read & write)
