Come join a dedicated team of Data Center Engineering Program Managers! We are responsible for aligning multiple teams across Apple on key product objectives and driving new product development, from concept review to first customer ship. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about contributing to the creation of complex and innovative products, is experienced in guiding complex programs through the hardware development process, and has the ability to distill tradeoffs down to key factors to help facilitate critical product decisions. Our team is responsible for enabling multiple partners to efficiently deliver high-quality, complex systems by collaborating to define system hardware, features, and schedule baseline. In this role, you will need to understand the complexities of hardware and software system development and be able to integrate all of it into a program plan and schedule that you then efficiently implement! You will lead program baseline and active investigations, system schedule, critical paths, and technical risks. You will also be responsible for identifying and highlighting engineering risk areas, teaming-up with engineering domain experts to develop mitigation paths forward, and clearly communicating project status, top issues, and customer concerns to the project core team and senior leadership. DESCRIPTION Collaborate with teams to define system hardware, features, and schedule. Manage program baseline, schedule, risks, and communicate project status to the core team and leadership. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 6 years Engineering Program Management experience Directly led at least 2 product development cycles for a System with hardware and software integration involved Proven experience in Program Management or Hardware Engineering and leading multiple teams in new product development PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred Leadership skills and ability to inspire team members Excellent communication and organizational skills
