Key job responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures with a focus on reliability and scalability. Perform comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and complex cabling systems Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience working with Linux operating systems - Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds Preferred Qualifications: - Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines - 2+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management experience - 2+ years of Linux operating systems experience - 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience - 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
