The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair as well as participating in an on-call rotation. Basic Qualifications: - Associate's degree in IT-related field or equivalent professional or military experience - 2+ years of experience with server hardware - 1+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with one or more of the follow hardware platforms (e.g. Dell, HP) is a plus. - Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications is a plus. - Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment). - Associate's degree in IT-related field plus two years of progressively responsible experience preferred. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
