Low Voltage Technician (Live Side / Day 2)   Data Center Technician  Job Summary:   Data center technicians work in a team environment to meet project objectives. With AI, remote work, and digital transformation accelerating, now is the time to build your future with LINX.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities  * Install and connect devices in server racksusing copper, power, and fiber (LC-LC, AOC-MTP, AOC-AOC) while following structured cabling best practices. * Transport, unload, and position server racksthroughout the hyperscale data center according to specific procedures. * Perform Smart Hands work, including fiber and copper patching, troubleshooting, testing, and routing cables while climbing ladders as needed. * Install,terminate, and test structured cabling systemsforCAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with industry standards. * Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testingin accordance withBICSI standards, NEC, and local regulationsto ensure safety and compliance. * Deliver exceptional customer service,maintainingprofessionalism andstrong communicationskills to resolve technical issues and provide solutions. * Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanshipon all installations to meet project specifications and exceed customer expectations. * Travel to job sites anywhere within your state, may also berequiredto travel within the USA   Minimum Requirements  * Tech 1:Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools; ability to lift/carry/setup a50 poundbox or ladder * Must ownlow voltage tools(snips, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches) * Ability to follow directions in a repetitive task for a long duration. * Able to work2nd/3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure. * Must pass a7-year background check, drug screen, and physical. * Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance * Data centerexperience preferred * Tech 2: all above requirements plus a minimum1 year of hyperscale data center low voltageinstallation experience: * Install devices and cabling into empty server racksusing copper, power,fiberand other connection types with limited supervision. * Patch in fiber and copper cables from network racks to serverswith limited supervision * Able toterminatea jack, pull cable and “work a 90”proficiently withlimited supervision. * Can install,terminate, and test structured cabling systems forCAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, andcoaxial cables proficiently * Ability to build outMDF and IDF closetsincluding racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardwarewith supervision * Tech 3: all above requirements plus a minimum of2 years ofhyperscale data centerlow voltageinstallation experience: * Install devices and cabling into empty server racksusing copper, power,fiberand other connection types with no supervision. * Patch in fiber and copper cables from network racks to serverswith no supervision * Able toterminatea jack, pull cable and “work a 90” proficiently withno supervision * Can install,terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables withno supervision * Ability to build out MDF and IDF closets including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware withno supervision * Professional workingproficiencyin English   Preferred Experience (not required)  * BICSI Technician or Installation Certification * Powder Actuated Tools Certification * Confined Space Certification * CPR and First Aid certified * Manufacturers certifications for Installation and Maintenance * High School Diploma     Pay Rate:  Tech 1: $20.00 - $22.00/hour  Tech 2: $21.00 - $24.00/hour  Tech 3: $23.00 - $28.00/hour   Denver / Fort Collins / Cheyenne / ATL / SLC / Iowa: $20.00 - $28.00 / hr based on experience  SAN ANTONIO $20.00 - $25.00 / hr based on experience      TEAMLINX offers great benefits including:  * 401K with 50% employer match up to first 4% * Insurance options includingMedicalplans with Flexible Spending and/or Health Savings Accounts, Disability, Dental and Vision * 8 Paid Holidays * 3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) combining sick pay and vacation days * Career growth opportunities   POSTING DEADLINE:  This is an evergreen position.
