Your future within QRT: Oversee the physical build and maintenance of QRT’s data centres and global co-location sites Ensure all implementations follow QRT’s operational, security and cabling standards Coordinate with third-party vendors to manage on-site installations, upgrades and expansions Maintain accurate and up-to-date infrastructure documentation, including designs, rack layouts and patching details Participate in new project rollouts, including global trading infrastructure deployments Work closely with global teams to align physical infrastructure with platform performance and operational goals Configure, automate and troubleshoot data centre infrastructure using scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible) and configuration management tools Design and maintain observability solutions, including Grafana dashboards, to provide real-time visibility and actionable insights into system, power and environmental health Develop automation workflows for monitoring, alerting and remediation to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead Collaborate with engineering teams to embed observability and automation best practices into infrastructure and deployment pipelines Your present skillset: Knowledge of data centre environments, financial exchange co-location ecosystems and research environments Experience working with third-party vendors to deliver successful on-site changes and deployments High standards of physical build quality and attention to detail in infrastructure layouts Strong documentation and organisational skills, with a focus on maintainability and operational readiness Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment Ability to travel, including internationally, as required Ability to participate in an after hours on call rotation QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
