What you’ll do:
As a member of the Data Centre Operations & Engineering (DCOE) team you will be responsible for many data centre facilities around the world, with an emphasis on one. These facilities will be supporting our Satellite services network, Corporate services, as well as some of our government customers! The DCOE team is responsible for managing the relationship of our Colocation providers, ensuring we have the network connections, power, cooling, and capacity needed to deliver services to our customers.
The day-to-day:
As part of this team, you will also be responsible for racking equipment, maintaining a standardized cabling, and labelling system, coordinating with various project managers on implementation schedules, inventory management, provisioning/decommissioning, and providing remote hands support for all the engineering and IT teams. You will be responsible for the health, care, and feeding of all IT Data Centre equipment (servers, storage arrays, network gear, etc.).
This role will work locally in the APAC Engineering team and will be a hosted member of the global DCOE team.
