What you’ll be doing::
Due to internal progression, we are excited to welcome a new Data Centre Operations Engineer to our dynamic team in Glasgow.
As part of our data centre team, you will play a crucial role in resolving a variety of customer issues. Your tasks will range from deploying racks and configuring servers to running and terminating network cables. You will also help with installing and modifying data floor equipment, monitoring networks and servers, and managing backups.
With the diverse nature of the role at iomart, no two days are the same. This will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience and develop your knowledge across a wide array of technologies and software.
No prior experience in the IT industry? No problem! We provide full training on everything you need to know.

• Have exceptional customer service skills
• Have basic OS admin skills
• Are able to work shifts as we provide 24/7 support to our customers (shift pattern is a rotational 4 on/4 off 7-7)
