Where Cloud lives and AI thrives Job Description We are currently looking for a passionate Data Centre Technician to join our highly skilled Adelaide facilities team. In this role you'll support the Facility Manager with the day-to-day operations of our data centres by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service. Your day to day will include: Assist with customer equipment and installations Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the Facility Rules and ensure adherence at all times Delivery of cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areas Attend to Remote Hands Request Assist with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systems Ensure that facility problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner Qualifications To be successful you'll have: Hands on experience with fibre optic/communication cabling and testing Excellent customer service, communication skills and most importantly, a can do attitude Good knowledge of critical infrastructure in a data centre would be advantageous Good planning, organising and analytical skills Proficient Computer Skills Work autonomously or in a team environment with a can do attitude to get the job done TAFE Cert in Telecommunications or similar Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens because of security clearances required Additional Information Opportunity to deliver landmark infrastructure projects shaping Australia’s digital economy.
