About the role The Data Collection Officer plays a crucial role at the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), supporting the collection, processing, and validation of student data for Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 students. This role is vital in ensuring that high schools and senior students across NSW receive accurate Records of School Achievement (RoSA) and can access their academic information through Students Online. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the integrity and quality of student credentials in NSW, providing essential support to schools and students. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for: Providing professional advice via phone and email to help NSW schools meet student entry submission requirements and support senior students in accessing advice and results. Conducting administration and data quality assurance processes for student records to prepare for the credentialing of the RoSA and Higher School Certificate (HSC). Collaborating with the team to understand and utilise the functionalities of the Schools Online and Students Online web portals. Offering accurate and consistent advice on RoSA eligibility, integrating information from various NESA stakeholders. Balancing a diverse workload in an environment of continuous interruptions and high-volume transactions. Staying updated on RoSA and credentialing requirements amid evolving policies and educational initiatives. Proven experience managing and maintaining workload in an environment of continuous interruptions and high volume of work.
