Description

Do you want to not only work with data, but above all understand what an organization needs and advise on it?

How do you ensure that catering companies prepare exactly enough meals without unnecessary waste? How do you optimize a logistics network so that trucks drive fewer kilometers? Or how do you help an organization become AI-ready with a solid data foundation?

These are examples of issues you can work on as a Data Consultant at Incentro .

Combining data with consultancy

As a Data Consultant, you combine your knowledge of data with consultancy. You engage in dialogue with clients and stakeholders, map out their challenges and ambitions, and translate these into smart, scalable data solutions.

You do not start with the question “Which technique are we going to use?” , but with “Which problem are we trying to solve for the customer?”

You work on complex issues that go beyond just technology. In doing so, you connect business, data, and technology, and collaborate closely with our data engineers, data scientists, BI specialists, and cloud architects.

Maybe this is your next step

A Data Consultant at Incentro can have diverse backgrounds. We are not looking for one specific profile, but for someone who wants to combine data and technology with an understanding of organizations and people.

Perhaps you are currently working as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, ETL Developer, Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Software Developer, and you want to provide more advisory services beyond the technical side and sit down with the business.

Or you are already active as a Data Consultant, Business Intelligence Consultant, or Analytics Consultant , but are looking for more technical depth.

Even if your background falls somewhere between these roles, we would still like to talk to you. Your current expertise is the starting point from which you further develop.

What are you going to do?

As a Data Consultant, you are the connecting factor between business, data, and technology.

Your duties include, among other things:

  • analyzing business issues and translating them into data solutions;
  • gathering requirements and customer needs;
  • advising on data, processes, and information provision;
  • contribute to data platforms, pipelines, and other data solutions;
  • involving customers in choices, progress, and results;
  • monitor whether the solution actually contributes to the customer's goal.

In doing so, you work for various organizations and get the chance to sink your teeth into interesting and complex issues time and again.

From data to impact

At Incentro, you work on issues where you actually see the results.

This is how we work on data-driven solutions for smarter energy grid management and the optimization of logistics processes. The goal is always the same: not just to build something technically sound, but to understand what problem it solves and create actual value for the customer.

Your technical foundation

You don't need to master all technology yet. A solid technical foundation and the ambition to develop yourself further are more important.

Within Data Solutions, we work with, among other things:

  • Python & SQL
  • Snowflake & dbt
  • Spark & Airflow
  • Kubernetes
  • AWS, GCP & Azure
  • Terraform & AWS CDK
  • dataplatformen en ETL-pipelines
  • machine learning & AI

We are looking for someone who understands how data and technology work, but is above all curious about the issues behind them.

You as a consultant

Whatever your background, you get energy from data, people, and challenges. You are curious, ask good questions, and want to understand what is really going on before devising a solution.

You can explain technical subjects in an understandable way, liaise easily with various stakeholders, and enjoy working for different organizations.

You have:

  • at least 3 years of experience in a data-related role;
  • experience with, for example, Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, or Data Consultancy;
  • experience with Python and SQL;
  • experience with a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, or Azure;
  • interest in the business issues behind data and technology;
  • good communication skills;
  • a curious and enterprising attitude;
  • good command of the Dutch and English languages.

Unsure if you sufficiently match this profile? No problem. We like to look at the big picture: what you bring, what you are curious about, and where you want to grow.

Your team

You will become part of our Data Solutions cell , a close-knit group of around 40 data engineers, data scientists, BI specialists, and cloud architects.

You work in project teams with various specialists, share knowledge, and always have colleagues to brainstorm with. From knowledge sessions and training to experimenting together with the latest developments in the field of data and AI.

We are a young, entrepreneurial club where you get plenty of room to develop yourself and try out new ideas. Outside of projects, we also get together during drinks, sports activities, and other events.

Our culture revolves around Camaraderie, Boldness, Autonomy, and Mastery (CBAM). Read more about this on our culture page.

We also aim to be at the forefront of AI. Our in-house AI team develops solutions and experiments with new applications. This way, you not only work with today's technology but also discover, together with your colleagues, what is possible tomorrow.

What do we offer you?

  • A salary between €3,500 and €5,500 based on 40 hours.
  • A permanent contract after your probationary period.
  • The opportunity to work 32–40 hours per week.
  • An unlimited education budget, without student debt.
  • An electric lease car of your choice or a mobility/travel expense scheme.
