Description Position Summary The individual in this position performs a variety of data control functions to support the daily business activities of the firm such as general electronic and paper filing duties and related clerical duties. The Data Control Specialist follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Accuracy and attention to detail is required. FLSA Status: Non-exempt Requirements Major Duties and Responsibilities Electronically delivers various records and documents involved in the support and operation of providing accounting services to the firm’s clients Files paper documents as per designated filling system, copies documents as needed Retrieves records as requested, or provides information contained in the files, and maintains filing system Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements Assembles tax returns, scans documents, and enters information into electronic tracking system Provides back-up support to administrative team Performs other duties as assigned Desired Skills, Abilities and Characteristics Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Zoom and other administrative software. Accounting software experience a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality of firm and client information Ability to maintain all assigned files so they are current, on a daily basis Ability to maintain accuracy in filing and processing documents and records Effectively communicate through oral and written means Client service oriented Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism Excellent organizational skills Ability to use office equipment including a computer, copier, printer, and fax machine Ability to work well with othershers Working Conditions AdamsBrown, LLC promotes a flexible work environment with a deep commitment to technology and modern work arrangements.
