Description:
ABOUT US
Coach USA, a leader in ground transportation across North America, is seeking a Data Analyst to join our expanding internal development team. With a diverse portfolio of services – including long-distance travel, airport shuttles, commuter services, and sightseeing tours – we’re committed to transforming the transportation experience through data-driven insights and innovative digital solutions.
Our data strategy is a core part of this vision. We’ve implemented a modern data warehouse using AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and QuickSight to empower the business with actionable insights. Now, we’re looking for a proactive data professional to help us take this capability to the next level by driving both technical execution and strategic alignment with business goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related field, with a track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Proactive mindset: You don’t just wait for requests; you seek to understand business problems and propose solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL (preferably Snowflake or similar) and data visualization tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Python experience for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
- Ability to prioritize competing requests and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
This isn’t your typical Data Analyst role. We’re looking for someone who can go beyond the numbers and become a strategic partner to the business. You’ll engage with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand their needs, define a shared vision for data solutions, and proactively deliver insights that drive better decisions.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll own the end-to-end process of building data solutions – from gathering and modeling data to creating dashboards and reports that deliver actionable business insights. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring our data tools and processes evolve to meet the changing needs of the business.
We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, ask the right questions, and turn data into a competitive advantage.
WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE
This role is ideal for a data professional who wants to go beyond traditional reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to engage directly with business leaders, understand their challenges, and build data solutions that drive real impact. We want someone who will take ownership of our data strategy, continuously improve our platform, and help shape the future of transportation through data-driven insights.
