Metric5 is seeking a Data Engineer/Architect (RPA & AI) for an upcoming opportunity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience designing and building data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS RDS, S3, Glue, Redshift or Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
- Experience supporting data-intensive applications, particularly in the realm of AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting an RPA program or working with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath).
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Prior experience working in a U.S. Federal government environment.
???????Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Location: The candidate must be local to the Washington, D.C. area and able to report on-site.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, with at least 3 years in a cloud-based environment.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance for this government position.
