Job Description: Job Title: Data Engineer, AS Corporate Title: Associate Location: Pune, India Role Description Associate Data Engineer responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining data engineering solutions on GCP. The candidate will work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, contributing to medium and large-scale projects. The role requires hands-on expertise in cloud data engineering, Java and Spark, with additional experience in Python considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a solid track record in agile environments. Proficient in Java programming; experience with Python is a plus Strong experience with Spark and cloud data engineering tools (e.g., DataFlow, CloudComposer, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataproc) Solid understanding of databases (RDBMS, SQL) Familiarity with data security and data quality concepts (Consistency, Completeness, Accuracy, Lineage) Passionate about test-driven development and agile methodologies Preferable Skills Experience in financial services, regulatory environments, or cross-product domains Data visualization experience Hands-on business and systems knowledge in a compliance or regulatory delivery environment Education / Qualifications Req Degree in a numerate field (e.g., Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering) Language Required Good knowledge of English How we’ll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career.
