Job Summary

We are looking for engineers to build a data analysis platform for storing data generated from various services in appropriate data storage, primarily BigQuery, and then investigating, analyzing, and utilizing that data. At Belong Inc., various types of data are generated daily, including pricing data, access logs, and sales KPI-related data. This data is stored in MySQL (CloudSQL), NoSQL (Firebase), and Spreadsheets, and is also accessible within platforms such as Google Cloud and SaaS. Currently, we store necessary data in BigQuery to enable big data analysis, but as the amount of data we handle increases, we are looking to expand our workforce and find individuals who can build and operate systems for data utilization. Experience with BigQuery and ETL construction is desirable, but we also welcome software engineers with experience in service development and SQL who are interested in learning about data analysis platforms, primarily BigQuery. Required skills

• A degree in Computer Science or Information Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • Business-level Japanese conversation skills (JLPT N1 or higher) • 2+ years (5+ years for senior positions) of development and operational experience related to the role of Data Engineer • Experience with programming languages ​​such as Python, Kotlin, Scala, and Java • Experience with and understanding of DWH construction practices • Experience with and understanding of DB and SQL practices • Experience using ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar technologies for information gathering and business process optimization (document creation, etc.)

Welcome skills

• Experience developing and operating Google Cloud products such as BigQuery, CloudSQL, Dataflow, and Cloud Run. • Experience with public clouds such as Google Cloud and AWS. • Building ETL processes in conjunction with Dataflow (Apache Beam) and BigQuery. • Building dashboards using DataPortal, Tableau, and other BI tools. • Knowledge of container technology and information security. • Experience leading a team as a tech lead or experience in establishing a team. • Knowledge of and interest in warehouse management systems (WMS). • Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders and explain technical content logically and clearly to non-engineers. • Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 800 or higher). • Experience involved in rapid corporate growth or practical experience in a venture company.
