Qualifications

  • Advanced technical degree (BSc / MSc) in either computer science, informatics, data science or mathematics.
  • Min. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including working with data pipelines, ETL processes, big data technologies (primarily Hadoop).
  • Self-Initiative, openness
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizing ability: active tracking of tasks, empowerment and team play in a multinational team
  • Fluent English knowledge both in written and oral form, German knowledge is an advantage
  • SW testing experience and clean code skills
  • Version control knowledge (GIT)
  • Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib), PySpark, CSS, Javascript and HTML programming skills
  • Experience with big data, database systems and distributed computing (Hadoop) or cloud computin
Responsibilities
  • Development of databases for the sensors of airbag and ESP systems / automated-driving vehicles (acceleration and rotation sensor integrated module MEMS)
  • Preparation of ETL and analysis pipelines
  • Implementation of big data tools (including back-end and front-end software development) in analytical, manufacturing and development processes
  • Responsible for creating the user interface (UI) and ensuring the smooth user experience (UX) of a web application by working closely with designers and back-end developers and implementing the visual/ interactive elements of big data tools
  • Cooperation in an international team
  • Application of Bosch development methods in accordance with international and Bosch standards, customer requirements.
