Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree (BSc / MSc) in either computer science, informatics, data science or mathematics.
- Min. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including working with data pipelines, ETL processes, big data technologies (primarily Hadoop).
- Self-Initiative, openness
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Good organizing ability: active tracking of tasks, empowerment and team play in a multinational team
- Fluent English knowledge both in written and oral form, German knowledge is an advantage
- SW testing experience and clean code skills
- Version control knowledge (GIT)
- Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib), PySpark, CSS, Javascript and HTML programming skills
- Experience with big data, database systems and distributed computing (Hadoop) or cloud computin
