What role will you play?
As a Data Engineer, you will architect, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Java to process large volumes of data from various sources. Implement best practices for data organisation and storage. You will develop and maintain microservices to support data processing and integration tasks, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
You will design and implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka. Ensure data is processed and delivered in a timely manner to downstream systems and establish and enforce data quality standards, implement data governance policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also monitor data pipelines for accuracy and performance.

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Maths, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in Python OR Java for developing data processing solutions
  • Experience with data processing pipelines and streaming architectures, and proficiency with relevant tools, technologies, and frameworks for real-time data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture and development
  • Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SqlServer)
  • Knowledge of designing and managing data flow patterns to efficiently process both real-time and batch data, leveraging Lambda and Kappa architectural frameworksData quality assurance and testing experience.
