Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence & Analytics, the Data Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data integration and processing solutions. The position develops and supports data pipelines, data warehouse structures, and related data infrastructure used for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.

The Data Engineer integrates data from multiple source systems, translates business and technical requirements into data solutions, and maintains processes and controls related to data quality, reliability, availability, and performance. As a Data Engineer you will...

    • Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines that integrate data from enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and other data sources.
    • Develop end-to-end data integration and processing solutions that support the organization's data warehouse, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics requirements.
    • Design, develop, configure, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies and related components, including Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other applicable services.
    • Translate business and technical data requirements into detailed solution designs, data flows, pipeline architecture, transformation logic, and technical specifications.
    • Develop and implement automated processes for data ingestion, transformation, validation, monitoring, and delivery to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor data pipelines and integration processes, troubleshoot failures and data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
