Yearly L&D Budget: Of EUR 2000 About the role ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and make a significant impact on the core applications at Coinmerce. As a Data Engineer, you’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, including Trading Technology and Development teams but also Business teams to design and develop advanced data solutions. Responsibilities: Design and develop data engineering solutions for Trading, Brokerage, Treasury, Finance, and Marketing projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise. Participate in design sessions and collaborate on other Technology team activities. Maintain and optimize data pipelines from trading and brokerage platforms to our data warehouse in BigQuery. Develop infrastructure for ETL processes from diverse data sources using SQL and big data technologies. Establish standards for data quality, security, and integrity across all platforms to ensure reliable reporting and analytics. Build analytical data models to be used for reporting and dashboards. What you bring: 6+ years of experience in a data engineering or data-centered development role. Experience building and/or maintaining a data warehouse based on BigQuery. Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data analysis. Knowledge of NoSQL, time-series databases, and data analysis techniques. Programming skills in Python (experience with Go or Rust is also considered). Clear and concise communication skills to efficiently analyze and solve technical problems. Experience in generating data reports and visualizations using tools like Google Looker or Grafana is a plus.
