This role provides the opportunity to lead and shape enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives in a fully remote, collaborative environment. The Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data pipelines using PySpark, AWS, and Databricks, working closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex data challenges. Accountabilities: Lead the technical direction for data engineering projects and initiatives. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines and architectures using PySpark, AWS, and Databricks. Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting best practices and high code quality. Collaborate with product, engineering, and data stakeholders to address enterprise-scale data challenges. Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot complex data workflows to ensure performance and reliability. 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Databricks. Proven experience leading technical teams or projects, with strong leadership and communication skills. Deep understanding of data architecture, pipeline design, and enterprise-scale data management. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Ability to work remotely with a dedicated home office setup. Competitive annual salary range of $65,000 – $130,000 based on experience and qualifications. Fully remote work with flexible hours.
