We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer with hands-on experience using the Databricks platform to join our collaborative team of six, led by the Head of Data & Analytics. WHAT YOU WILL NEED

We’re looking for a data engineer who brings:

  • Experience working with Databricks and a strong understanding of lakehouse architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark, with a strong ability to write efficient, clean, and optimized code.
  • A collaborative spirit and the drive to work in a high-tempo, agile team where adaptability is key.
  • Curiosity and a desire to grow in the data engineering field; experience or interest in AI/ML is a big plus.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS AND TOOLS:

  • Experience with PySpark for advanced data processing.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
  • Knowledge of Delta Live Tables and Workflows for managing data pipelines.
  • Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud Services experience.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs for integration.

Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer on our team, you’ll work hands-on across all parts of the data engineering lifecycle, from data ingestion to transformation and optimization. You’ll have the freedom to explore and optimize all areas of our data pipeline, ensuring end-to-end quality, efficiency, and innovation in everything we deliver.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines on the Databricks platform.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet our business’s needs.
