Description

DATA & AUTOMATION ENGINEER

PNO Group, Copenhagen
PNO is the Nordic’s largest trailer rental company. We are a family-owned company
established in 1975 with our head office in Copenhagen, and with branches in Germany,
Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark & the Netherlands.
At PNO, we are looking for smart people who are curious at heart and always looking for
new ways of doing things. In a nutshell, we are a human-centred organisation looking
for team players who bring their honest selves to work every day.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a tech savvy individual to take our data and automation setup to the
next level. Over the past years we have built up base infrastructure for data and
reporting mainly using PowerBI, PostgreSQL, Azure data factory and Databricks.
We are now looking for someone to help take that to the next level especially focusing
more on data sync and alignment between systems including automation of that.
You will be required to have an eye on the strategic aspect in terms of how we structure
our data landscape and connect systems, but still enjoy spending most of your time
with getting your hands dirty developing pipelines and automations.
You’ll play a central role in syncing and aligning data between systems and automating
where it really matters. You care about impact, not complexity, and are able to make
strategic calls about where to focus, while being hands-on with implementation.
One day you might be helping design how we align data models between our ERP and
CRM, while you the other day will code robots to handle data in our AP system.

Skills, experience and background

  • 5+ years Data engineering experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development and

data architecture.

  • Comfortable navigating real world, resource-constrained environment and

  • Knowledge of all or some of PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and

PostgreSQL, Power Automate.

  • Experience working with a stack of loosely connected cloud systems and using

scripts, APIs, automated browser robots and similar to bridge the gaps.
