This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer (DevOps & CI/CD) to drive automation, reliability, and operational excellence across our data platform infrastructure. This role involves designing and managing systems that empower data engineering and data science teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain data applications efficiently, securely, and at scale. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and management of data infrastructure and applications. Develop and manage containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for scalability and reliability. Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform for version-controlled, reproducible infrastructure. Implement observability frameworks (monitoring, logging, alerting) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to ensure high availability and performance. Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and optimized for cost efficiency. Collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts to resolve infrastructure-related challenges. Required Skills & Experience: Must-Have: Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Data Platform Engineering roles. Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Proven expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash. Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (preferably Terraform). Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Good-to-Have: Exposure to data platforms or customer analytics tools like RudderStack, Amplitude, Kochava, or Braze. Experience managing infrastructure for data systems like Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka. Understanding of network security, IAM policies, and cloud security best practices. Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. Skills: DevOps | ETL | CI/CD | Jenkins
