A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent field of study
Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive or Pig would be advantageous.
An understanding of SQL database structure along with proficiency in SQL queries
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java or R
A strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
The capacity to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French or Dutch.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience.

Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
Collaborate with architects, consultants and technical personnel on project design and implementation.
Create custom software components (e.g., specialized UDFs) and analytics applications.
Mine hidden insights from company databases to drive product development strategies through Machine Learning techniques.
Institute processes that verify data integrity across multiple databases related to primary datasets used by the organization’s departments.
Evaluate new or emerging technologies in data processing for potential use within the company.
