Data Engineer

We are looking for a multi-faceted data engineer with experience in AWS. You should enjoy problem-solving across the entire data spectrum. As a data engineer at GeoGuessr, you’ll build out and maintain the data platform that drives our game development and business decisions. You have strong expertise in deployment and data extraction but can also contribute to analytics engineering and visualization. You are comfortable working with bigger data volumes and apply SWE principles to implement robust and scalable data pipelines.

What you’ll do:

• Deploy, develop and maintain ELT pipelines of gaming data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data collection and extraction.
• Maintain our data warehouse, ensuring data integrity, security and performance.

EXTRA NICE IF YOU BRING EXPERIENCE IN:

• dbt
• Dagster or equivalent (Airflow, prefect)
• Experience of the gaming industry
• Saas/subscription business models
• Qlik or equivalent
• AWS (Redshift, S3, ECS etc)
• C#/.NET or similar application development
