Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role you will be part of the Hardware Engineering team and support testing through the organization, analysis and tool development for data collected during subsystem and vehicle testing. Havoc has a large and growing fleet of vehicles, all of which provide telemetry including health and performance metrics of each vehicle. This role will seek to continue to develop tools to display data in real time or near real time to support testing as well as to post process data and provide insights into performance, vehicle health, and design iteration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for streamed and logged telemetry from unmanned vehicle systems and test assets.
  • Develop tools to analyze and visualize time series data for debugging, trend detection, design iteration and predictive analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify the data needed to validate subsystem and vehicle performance.
  • Support development of simulation and performance prediction tools using real-world data.
  • Ensure data integrity through automated validation, cleaning, and transformation pipelines.
  • Design and implement storage solutions for both real-time and archived datasets (e.g., AWS S3, SQL/NoSQL).
  • Create dashboards and reporting tools for internal users to monitor vehicle health and system behavior.
  • Document data systems and collaborate across teams to improve the company’s overall data fluency.
  • Must be a US Citizen
