At HUB24, we’re building cutting-edge financial platforms that are set to transform how advisers work, making quality financial advice more accessible and affordable for all Australians. As our new Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of this exciting mission.
You’ll dive into:
- Crafting innovative applications used by thousands of advisers nationwide
- Architecting robust micro-services and scalable solutions
- Tackling complex data challenges with our advanced caching, data lake, and pipeline systems
- Developing game-changing public and private APIs
- Mentoring fellow engineers and driving technical excellence
We’re looking for a tech enthusiast who:
- Thrives on solving sophisticated problems with clean, testable code
- Has a knack for improving user experiences and system robustness
- Isn’t afraid to voice opinions and challenge the status quo
- Embraces agile methodologies to deliver impactful outcomes
This is a full time role based in our Melbourne CBD office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Computer, Software, or Data Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a Data or Software Engineer, with a focus on designing and delivering high-quality solutions
- Experience with data lake technologies (e.g., Databricks)
- Proficiency in data transformation (e.g., PySpark, dbt)
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core (C#) and Node.js (Nest.js is a plus)
- Knowledge of relational (SQL Server) and non-relational databases (MongoDB is a plus)
- Exposure to cloud-based development (GCP experience is a bonus)
- Strong understanding of automated unit testing and best practices
