WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing.
• Familiarity with data architecture and ETL processes.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Apache Spark, and Databricks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Drive for self-improvement and learning new data engineering tools and practices.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will help design, develop, and maintain our data platform built on Databricks, to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and consumption. You will work closely with senior engineers, data analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines on Databricks and other technologies.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all layers of the architecture.
• Write and maintain clean, well-documented code using SQL and Python.
• Monitor and optimize data processes to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Drive improvement to the platform and its engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Assist with designing data models and transformations that align with business needs.
