DATA ENGINEER II

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Data Engineer for a three (3) month engagement. This position is based in Ottawa, ON but fully remote consultants are being considered.

DATA ENGINEER II MANDATORY SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, ETL development, or database administration.
  • Proficiency in Python, especially for data manipulation (e.g., pandas, JSON, requests).
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP) and OAuth2 authentication.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake, including SQL, Snowpipe, and data loading techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and external API integrations.
  • Understanding of data security, privacy standards, and handling sensitive data.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake UDFs, external functions, and AI service integration.
