JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at iVEGA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring the seamless flow of data across different systems. You will collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to develop data models and extract insights for informed decision-making.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Informatica, or Talend.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

    Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Build and maintain data architectures for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data.
  • Create scalable data models that support the needs of business intelligence and analytics.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide clean, reliable data for various projects.
  • Implement data integration and warehousing solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks.
