As a Data Engineer, you contribute to unlocking, structuring, and making data available within the PLUS data platform. You ensure that data is reliably, timely, and scalably available to both internal teams and external consumers. In doing so, you play a key role in creating insights that help move our organization forward.

 

In this versatile role, you are responsible for:

 

  • Building, managing, and improving the PLUS Data Platform and developing future-proof data solutions;
  • Monitoring performance and stability and ensuring timely and optimal data flows;
  • Unlocking and managing data sources and ensuring data quality for reliable insights;
  • Realizing BI solutions and translating business needs into scalable data solutions;
  • Act as a point of contact for data issues;
  • Identifying and leveraging opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement.

Who are you?You are eager to learn, innovative, and pragmatic. You have experience with database concepts and architectures. In addition, you have:

  • A background in (technical) business administration, computer science, econometrics, artificial intelligence, or mathematics, or demonstrable experience in the field;
  • Knowledge of and experience with:
    • SQL and Python;
    • ETL/ELT development;
    • Azure and Databricks;
  • Knowledge of and experience working in a SCRUM setting;
  • Experience in retail and with SAP is a plus.
  • What do we offer you?A gross annual salary between €50,000 and €71,000 (excluding holiday allowance) based on 36 hours per week and based on your knowledge and experience;
  • Variable remuneration scheme of 3%;
  • 6 weeks of vacation per calendar year for full-time employment;
  • 8% holiday allowance;
